    Lettuce Entertain You is a restaurant company based in Chicago - we have restaurants in 8 states that range from fast casual to casual, and all the way up to fine dining! Our brands include Stella Barra, RPM Italian, R.J. Grunts, M Burger and Summer House Santa Monica just to name a few! Our Internship Program is a one-of-a-kind, hands-on opportunity that is geared towards preparing you for a career in restaurant management. We want you to learn everything a front-of-house Manager should know while also gaining insight into the restaurant industry as a whole.

    This is a paid internship.

    Each Intern goes through the interviewing process and is placed in one Lettuce restaurant for the summer - your primary duty will be to work an hourly role and shadow managerial tasks. In addition, you will:

    • Attend exclusive seminars each week lead by experts in the company that contain presentations on topics of menu creation, advertising, restaurant financials, and much more.
    • Have the opportunity to collaborate with a group of other Lettuce interns to create a restaurant from the ground up! At the end of the internship, your group presents your concept to Lettuce Partners and key operators. This project has room for endless creativity, and is a great way to understand how you work on a team.
    • Get direct, hands-on feedback from your Managers.
    • Work off-site events and festivals.
    • And much, much more!
