Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team during the evening shift from 3 PM to 11 PM. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse RN. Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks aimed at enhancing patient well-being and ensuring comfortable and supportive care environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while observing and documenting patient responses.
- Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes or concerns to the supervising RN or physician.
- Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients and their families while providing education about health conditions and care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members in developing and implementing patient care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in compliance with facility policies and regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and attend staff meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in nursing practice while ensuring patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:

- Valid and active LVN/LPN license in the state of [State].
- Completed a vocational nursing program accredited by the state board.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting (preferred, but not required).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be current).
