    Job Summary We are seeking a fully licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team! In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, assist adult clients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises. If you are an experienced therapist passionate about providing high-quality care and mental health solutions, we want to hear from you!

    Responsibilities

    Perform intake assessments

    Provide mental health therapy for adults

    Create individualized treatment plans for each client

    Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate individual treatments and help your clients reach their specific treatment goals

    Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan

    Adhere to all facility and licensing standards

    Services will be provided in our Dallas office and via telehealth

    Qualifications

    Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or similar field

    Current and related licensure (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT)

    Previous experience as a mental health therapist working with adult clients with mental health disorders required (internship experience is acceptable)

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Highly organized

    About The Northrop Connection, LLC The Northrop Connection, LLC was founded in 2018 and is a medium sized group mental health practice. The Founder/Director, Jessica Northrop, is an LCSW with over 20 years of experience in this field. We have 10 fully licensed therapists, 3 provisionally licensed therapists, a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, an Office Manager, and Administrative Assistant on our team at present. We provide services in our Dallas office, via Telehealth, and in select Paulding County Schools. As we learn, we grow, and as we grow, we learn.

    Our mission is to elevate the mental health of Paulding County and Georgia at large with compassion and competence with the use of person centered and evidenced-based therapy as well as medication management personalized to the needs of the client, while cultivating freedom and excellence for clinicians.
