Responsibilities: • As a Licensed Architect at GG Homes in San Diego, CA, your key responsibilities will include: • Creating and developing architectural designs, including detailed drawings and specifications. • Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget constraints. • Preparing and submitting permit applications, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. • Maintaining clear communication with clients to understand their objectives and keep them informed of project progress. • Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and city planners to streamline project execution. • Generating comprehensive construction documents that effectively convey design intent to contractors. • Conducting site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications. • Integrating sustainable design principles into projects to meet environmental standards and client expectations. • Ensuring all architectural designs meet aesthetic, functional, and safety requirements. Qualifications: • Must hold a professional degree in architecture such as a B.Arch or M.Arch. • Should possess an active California Architect license. • Need to have at least 2 years of experience in architecture, with a preference for residential projects. • Should have extensive proficiency in using AutoCAD and Procore. • Must have a proven track record of effectively managing permits and collaborating with city officials on code enforcement matters. • Should demonstrate strong project management abilities, including meeting deadlines and handling multiple tasks effectively.
