  • Responsibilities

    This is a casual position COLSA is seeking a Program Advisor to join our team in Huntsville, AL. This role will provide expert guidance and advisement in support of programs related to Threat Systems & Cyber Operations.

    • Develops demonstrations of technology & integration strategies for threat/cyber markets (e.g. PT, JFAC, SwA)
    • Advises on cyber/threat training initiatives & provides support to civil agencies (e.g. DHS, NASA, FBI, USFS)
    • Provides expert guidance on best practices and methodologies to optimize program success
    • Consults and collaborates with stakeholders and technical staff to identify innovative activities, transformative initiatives, and recommends improvements
    • Identifies and mitigate risks to program success
    • May work closely with the proposal team to develop a strategic approach, including defining win themes, understanding the customer's needs, and identifying key differentiators.
    • May serve as technical liaison between Program Manager and other technical personnel

    ** Required Qualifications**

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering field
    • Minimum of 15 years of related experience
    • Extensive knowledge of DoD acquisition & procurement processes
    • Possesses extensive managerial, technical, and business knowledge, and specific experience relating to management of threat systems & cyber operations programs
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships, influence outcomes, and to deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences.
    • Must be in commuting distance of Huntsville, AL.

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Fluent knowledge of Macintosh and PC Operating Systems.
    • Fluent knowledge of design and layout software such as Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier or Apple Final Cut Pro, Apple Motion, Blackmagic DaVinci, Apple Compressor, and Adobe Media.
    • Skilled in event photography and video
    • Skilled in Video Editing
    • Skilled in commercial and product photography
    • Skilled in the proper use of large format printing devices from set-up to completion of job output.
    • Skilled in the transcoding of media for various motion formats.
    • Knowledge in project traffic coordination (outdoor, print, web, and TV).
    • Knowledge of outdoor and print layout specifications.
    • Knowledge of lighting setups for photography and video.
    • Knowledge of off camera flash (Strobe, Speedlites)
    • Knowledge of 3 screen design layout (TV, web, and digital signage).
    • Knowledge of image acquisition equipment such as Digital SLR and HDcam devices. (Canon/BlackMagic)
    • Detail-oriented with superior time management skills.
    • Must be able to work effectively and produce material on time as specified in a fast paced high output environment.
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
