Position Overview
BBABN seeks an empathetic, dedicated, and licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to provide Intensive In-Community Services for youth and young adults ages 5–21 in the Greater Newark area. In this role, you will deliver goal-oriented, solution-focused therapy designed to stabilize families, empower youth, and foster meaningful community reintegration.

Licensed and Experienced: You hold one of the following New Jersey licenses and bring at least 2 years of clinical experience:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Licensed Psychologist
Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
What You’ll Do
Provide Therapy: Deliver individual, group, and family-focused interventions that help youth develop coping mechanisms, emotional regulation, and stress management skills.
Develop Treatment Plans: Conduct biopsychosocial assessments to create personalized care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
Collaborate: Partner with families, Child Family Teams (CFT), and support systems to ensure holistic care.
Document Progress: Maintain detailed records of sessions, outcomes, and key insights for program improvement.
Learn and Grow: Participate in BBABN training programs to enhance your skills and remain up-to-date with mental health best practices.
