You will collect and assess patient data, diagnose the extent of mental disorders, and provide a treatment plan tailored to the patient's requirements. You'll also use psychotherapy and medications, as well as keep track of the patient's response to the prescribed drugs and make necessary adjustments. Our ideal candidate will have completed a medical residency program, hold an MD or DO from an accredited medical school, and be state-certified to practice medicine in Texas. Responsibilities: • Continue developing professional skills by reading journals, attending educational seminars, and maintaining networks • Assess a patient's mental health by interviewing the patient, family members, and others • Document and maintain all patient records including types of medications used, treatments, and other relative information • Ensure that treatment programs are tailored to the patient's individual needs and the severity of their specific emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, or behavioral problems • Consult the patient's primary care physician, nurses, or other health care professionals to ensure that all health information is taken into consideration Qualifications: • This position requires an MD or DO degree from an accredited United States medical school • Must have licensure to practice medicine in the state which you practice • Diagnose and medically treat psychiatric patients • See children, adolescents, adults, geriatric Compensation: $130.00 - $150.00 hourly
