    Position: Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

    Location: Fairmount Avenue, Jamestown, New York. Job Type: Full-time Salary: $30 - $35 an Hour Application Deadline: Till positions are filled.

We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of fostering emotional wellness, personal growth, and healing.

    Position Overview: As an LCSW at Urban Mental Health Counseling Services you will work with a diverse client base, providing individual, couples, and family therapy, and supporting clients through a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals in a conducive, supportive and well-resourced environment.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Therapeutic Services: Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to clients dealing with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship difficulties.
    • Assessment & Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations to inform treatment planning.
    • Treatment Planning: Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans, working collaboratively with clients to set goals and evaluate progress.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation in accordance with state licensing requirements and center policies.
    • Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention when necessary, offering immediate support to clients in distress.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with other mental health professionals, such as psychologists, counselors, and psychiatrists, to coordinate care and ensure holistic client support.
    • Client Advocacy: Advocate for client needs, including referrals to external resources and support services, as needed.
    • Professional Development: Participate in regular clinical supervision, ongoing training, and professional development activities to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date with best practices.

    Qualifications:

    • Education & Licensure: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) and current, valid LCSW license in the state of New York.
    • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in a mental health or counseling setting. Experience working with diverse populations is a plus.

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
    • Ability to provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-focused therapy, etc.).
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
    • Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding mental health care and confidentiality (HIPAA).
    • Compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to therapy.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
