We are seeking a passionate and skilled Lead Massage Therapist to join and lead our team.

Job Summary

The Lead Massage Therapist will play a key role in overseeing massage therapy operations, ensuring exceptional client experiences, and fostering a collaborative and professional team environment. This position requires leadership, technical expertise, and a dedication to holistic care. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in a variety of massage styles, possess a deep knowledge of human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system, and work well as part of a holistic wellness team.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional massage therapy services tailored to individual client needs.

Perform a variety of massage and body treatments

Supervise, mentor, and support the team of massage therapists.

Assist in recruiting, training, and on-boarding new massage therapists.

Develop and maintain treatment protocols and ensure consistent service quality.

Collaborate with management to promote services, events, and wellness initiatives.

Manage inventory of massage supplies and equipment.

Stay updated on industry trends and emerging techniques.

Opening & Closing Procedure for a successful shift

Educate clients on the services and products offered as well as the therapeutic benefits of regular massage therapy

Maintain accurate records of each session

Build relationships with clients to assist them with meeting their wellness goals

Maintain a clean, organized, and serene workspace adhering to health and safety standards.

Complying with all applicable standards, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications

Hold current state license and liability insurance to practice massage therapy

Capable of performing trigger point therapy and myofascial work or open to learning

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Strongly service oriented with an ability to communicate effectively with clients in a one-on-one setting

Proven leadership or supervisory experience is highly preferred.

Expertise in multiple massage modalities (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, etc.).

High level of ethics and integrity.

A passion for helping people look and feel their best.

Commitment to continuous professional development.

1-2 years of experience as a Lead Massage Therapist preferred
