Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate, thoroughly documented patient records with a quality of documentation that meets facility and licensing standards • Conduct intake and needs assessment of individuals, significant others, and family members by testing, interviewing, observing, and holding discussion sessions • Deliver mental health services to families, couples, individuals, and children by employing solution-focused counseling techniques • Attend and participate in weekly scheduled Clinical Team meetings and collaborate with community agencies • Engage in planning, implementation, and evaluation of therapeutic treatment programs for each patient • Conduct clinical assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans for clients • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients with a variety of behavioral health concerns • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment goals and interventions • Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed • Utilize evidence-based practices in clinical counseling and therapy techniques • Work with individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with special education needs • Provide behavioral therapy and interventions to promote positive behavior change • Conduct research and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field of mental health counseling • Collaborate with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to pediatric clients Qualifications: • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, as well as outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, are needed • CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications are required • 1-3 years in a clinical setting counseling couples and families is required • Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field; preference to those with a master’s degree • Current and unrestricted state license as an LMFT (licensed marriage and family therapist) or equivalent • Master's degree in Marital and Family Therapy, Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or a related field • State licensure or certification as a Clinical Therapist • Experience working with couples and families is strongly preferred • Strong understanding of family systems techniques and interventions • Experience with addictions and/or trauma-informed care a plus Compensation: $72,000 - $125,000 yearly
