Licensed Mental Health Professional

Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing tailored treatment plans with goals and objectives, offering crisis intervention when needed, and following up with patients to ensure they're getting the best care possible. Our ideal candidate holds a current LMHC license (licensed mental health counselor) and has 1-3 years of experience counseling mental health patients. Responsibilities: • Create individualized treatment plans that include goals and objectives for each patient • Offer community resources or specialists to patients and family members who are experiencing difficulties • Determine the status of patients mental health by using medical information, interviews, observation, and testing, as well as collaboration with other staff members • Assist with intervention for patients when a crisis occurs • Monitor each patient situation on a frequent basis and offer the appropriate follow-up care • Very independent position • Weekly supervision provided • Work with integrity and honesty • Love what you do • Collaborative spirit with a Positive attitude • Have a passion and desire to be the best of the best in the world of therapy. Strive to learn more • Assess, diagnose, and provide highly individualized and quality psychotherapy to adults and/or children • Must be trained in at least one EBT, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or any other EBP • Complete all notes within 24 hours • Must be licensed in CA and a CA resident • Must be available for in-office therapy sessions in Lancaster, CA Qualifications: • Must have 1-3 years of mental health experience in a clinical setting • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical ability as well as outstanding interpersonal and communication skills are needed • Current and unrestricted state license as an LMHC (licensed mental health counselor) or equivalent • High school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or equivalent; masters degree preferred • Additional certifications required: CPR, BLS (Basic Life Support) • Associate number is required for this role & 1000 clinical hours completed (exceptions can be made based on experience) • (AMFT/ASW/LMFT/APCC/LPCC/LCSW) and enjoy working with children, teens, and adults • Must be able to identify risk factors for mandated reporting • Must have previous therapy experience • Must be trained in how to provide evidence-based treatment • DMH experience is highly preferred • Experience diagnosing, creating safety plans, and consulting with DCFS preferred • Spanish-speaking desired • Must be available for in-office therapy sessions in Lancaster, CA Compensation: $31 - $37 hourly
