    Remote Licensed Mental Health Professional - LMSW Honest Hour Therapy is seeking 1-2 licensed psychotherapists in New York or New Jersey to join our thriving, virtual private practice. We are especially interested in clinicians with experience or a strong interest in couples work who are eager to help individuals and relationships navigate relational challenges. This is a remote, part-time position requiring a minimum of 12 clients per week. You will be responsible for doing diagnostic assessments, making customized treatment plans with goals and objectives, providing crisis intervention as needed, and following up with patients to ensure they are receiving appropriate ongoing care. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of clinical experience working with mental health patients as well as a current LMSW (licensed master social worker) license in the state of New York or New Jersey. Compensation & Benefits:Pay: $40 - $60 per hour, based on experience and caseload capacity. • Hours: Part-time employee, with a minimum of 12 clients per week. • Schedule: Day, night, and weekend availability. • Benefits: Flexible schedule and continuous professional support. Responsibilities: • Determine the status of patients mental health by using medical information, interviews, observation, and testing, as well as collaboration with other staff members • Reassess patient situations and provide appropriate follow-up care based on their current needs • Work with patients to develop individualized treatment plans with goals and objectives • Recommend community services or specialists for patients and family members in need • Provide crisis intervention as needed • Maintain a minimum caseload of 12-15 clients per week. • Conduct individual and couples therapy sessions. • Document client progress and maintain timely and accurate records. • Stay informed on best practices in psychotherapy, including but not limited to financial psychology and couples therapy. • Participate in individual and group consultations to support professional growth. Qualifications: • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and great communication and interpersonal skills • 1-3 years in a clinical setting working with mental health patients is required Required: • LMSW with an active license to practice in NY or NJ. • NPI number and active CAQH account. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Preferred: • Interest or experience in financial therapy and/or couples counseling. • Post-master’s training in evidence-based practices, such as CBT, DBT, EFT, Gottman, IFS, ERP, or similar modalities. • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
