Title: Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP)
Clinical Supervisor: Clinical Director
Administrative Supervisor: Program Administrator
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Provide clinical supervision to non-licensed staff and encourage individual development and proper caseload management.
Responsible for program admissions, transitions, and discharges.
Responsible for reviewing and determining crisis situations and assigning and prescribing appropriate services for follow-up, when necessary.
Complete comprehensive initial psychosocial assessments and assign proper diagnosis. Complete the LOCUS/CALOCUS for all clients.
Complete reassessments as required by the state and MCOs.
Serve as the leader of the team to develop individual treatment plans with clients.
Complete initial authorization request forms for clients, upon admission to the program.
Review, lock and sign progress notes. Provide feedback when necessary.
Complete clinical reviews as requested or required by CMO(s).
Provide Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) to clients who have been assessed and admitted to services
Gather information for re-assessments and ensure appropriate documentation and signatures.
Enforce program policies and procedures to ensure agency compliance.
Assist physician during medication management appointments when necessary.
Be available on-call for clients when needed.
Administrative duties
Complete documentation for assessments and assessment scales within 48 hours of the session.
Prepare and write accurate progress notes, progress summaries and other documents related to services provided to the client, submit paperwork for clinical supervision
Attend trainings and meetings as required
LEVEL OF EDUCATION/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling and be currently licensed as a LPC or LCSW. License must be active and in good standing.
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule, with minimal direct supervision.
Must possess NPI number and CAQH number
Must register with LAMedicaid
Must have excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to communicate orally and verbally
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines for data entry
Abide by agency’s policies and procedures (confidentiality, incident reporting, FWA, code of ethics, non-discrimination)
Must possess a valid driver license
Must be able to diagnose individuals according to DSM standards
Must be able to develop and execute a treatment plan
Must be able to supervision and instruct non-licensed clinicians appropriately
Ability to obtain CPR certification within 45 days if position is offered

WORKING CONDITIONS
The LMHP usually work in an office or remote environment, but some services will be/ may be provided in a community-based environment. Travel to homes will/may be required. Telehealth is an approved method of providing services.
