    Worcester RISE for Health is looking for a passionate and experienced Independently Licensed Mental Health clinician to provide traditional and non-traditional behavioral health services to newly arriving refugees and immigrants. The right candidate will be passionate about working with the population and delivering services to new arrivals through a wide range of innovative modalities. Services include one-on-one therapy, group therapy, therapeutic group programs, and other non-traditional models catering to the needs of new arrivals in a trauma-informed way. Responsibilities: • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' unique needs and challenges. Formulate accurate clinical diagnoses based on assessments and observations. • Individualized Wellness Planning: Develop individualized wellness plans tailored to clients' goals and strengths. Collaborate with clients to set realistic and achievable objectives for therapy. • Evidence-Based Therapy: Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support clients' mental health goals via individual and group (traditional and nontraditional) therapy. Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, adapting approaches to meet clients' diverse needs. • Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure client safety and well-being. • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with colleagues, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care. Maintain clear and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans. • Continuous Professional Development: Stay current with advancements in behavioral health research and treatment methodologies. Engage in regular supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills. • Data Collection and Reporting: Securely maintain thorough case documentation. Provide data and reporting to Program Manager. Qualifications: • State licensure or certification as an Independently Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician. (LICSW, PsyD, LMHC, LMFT). • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field. • Must have 3 years of mental health experience in clinical setting. • Experience working across multiple languages and cultures, particularly with refugees or immigrant populations with diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. • Demonstrated experience in providing therapy and counseling services to diverse populations. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate effectively and respectfully with clients with varying beliefs, behaviors, orientations, identities, and cultural backgrounds. • Ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
