    We are actively seeking a compassionate mental health therapist for our clinic who is committed to therapeutic excellence for our patients. You will be responsible for doing diagnostic assessments, making customized treatment plans with goals and objectives, providing crisis intervention as needed, and following up with patients to ensure they are receiving appropriate ongoing care. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of clinical experience working with mental health patients as well as a current LMHC (licensed mental health counselor) license. Responsibilities: • Provide crisis intervention as needed • Use patient medical information, interviews, observation, and testing as well as collaboration with other staff members to determine a patient’s mental health status • Create individualized treatment plans that include goals and objectives for each patient • Evaluate patients’ circumstances on a regular basis and provide necessary follow-up care • Recommend community services or specialists for patients and family members in need • Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' needs and develop treatment plans • Provide therapy services to individuals with various mental health conditions • Utilize ICD-9 and ICD-10 codes for accurate medical documentation • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care • Offer specialized care such as EMDR, Somatic, or art therapy for holistic treatment • Work in an office setting to deliver therapy services effectively Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or equivalent; masters degree preferred • Current and unrestricted state license as an LMHC (licensed mental health counselor) or equivalent • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting working as a mental health therapist • CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications are required • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and great communication and interpersonal skills • Independently licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker; we are not hiring associate therapists at this time; must have active licensure in good standing with the AZBBHE • Ability to provide at least eight hours in person per week • Ability to provide at least twelve hours of hybrid services per week • Previous experience in a behavioral health setting • Familiarity with trauma-informed therapy approaches • Strong knowledge of behavioral health documentation practices • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet individual client needs Compensation: $57,000 - $85,800 yearly
