We are actively seeking a compassionate mental health therapist for our clinic who is committed to therapeutic excellence for our patients. Responsibilities: • Provide crisis intervention as needed • Use patient medical information, interviews, observation, and testing as well as collaboration with other staff members to determine a patient’s mental health status • Create individualized treatment plans that include goals and objectives for each patient • Evaluate patients’ circumstances on a regular basis and provide necessary follow-up care • Recommend community services or specialists for patients and family members in need • Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' needs and develop treatment plans • Provide therapy services to individuals with various mental health conditions • Utilize ICD-9 and ICD-10 codes for accurate medical documentation • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care • Offer specialized care such as EMDR, Somatic, or art therapy for holistic treatment • Work in an office setting to deliver therapy services effectively Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or equivalent; masters degree preferred • Current and unrestricted state license as an LMHC (licensed mental health counselor) or equivalent • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting working as a mental health therapist • CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications are required • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and great communication and interpersonal skills • Independently licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker; we are not hiring associate therapists at this time; must have active licensure in good standing with the AZBBHE • Ability to provide at least eight hours in person per week • Ability to provide at least twelve hours of hybrid services per week • Previous experience in a behavioral health setting • Familiarity with trauma-informed therapy approaches • Strong knowledge of behavioral health documentation practices • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet individual client needs Compensation: $57,000 - $85,800 yearly
