  • Responsibilities

    Our clinic is looking for an awesome human and passionate Mental Health Therapist dedicated to providing the best possible therapeutic service to our patients as part of our Collaborative, Multidisciplinary Healthcare Team. This is a W-2 position. Our ideal candidate has at least 1-3 years of experience providing psychotherapy to individuals and couples, is interested in being trained in EMDR Therapy, and has an interest in working with First Responders. Responsibilities: • Interest and ability to see at least 15+ clients per week. Interest in growing beyond that to 20-25 is preferred. • Excited to be part of a team and collaborate on behalf of patients with team members from different disciplines. • Must have excellent and compassionate communication and professionalism. • Competency in working with Trauma and interest in being trained in EMDR. Therapy. Priority and higher starting wages will be given to those who have completed basic training and/or certification in EMDR. • Assess patients’ mental condition based on review of medical information, interviews, observation, tests, and collaboration with other staff members. • Create individualized treatment plans that include goals and objectives for each patient. • Provide crisis intervention as needed. • Evaluate patients’ circumstances on a regular basis and provide necessary follow-up care. Qualifications: • Must have a Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling or Social Work and an active license to practice counseling in WA State (LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, or Associates). • We are looking for candidates who do not want to maintain a private practice while working on our team, and who would like to grow to full-time with us. • Must be comfortable with working in a private pay/out-of-network environment, and serving our local first responders in-network on one insurance panel. • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Priority given to those with additional training and certifications in couples counseling. Compensation: $50 - $60 hourly
