Key Responsibilities:
Client Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to understand clients' mental health status, including interviews, questionnaires, and observation
Treatment Planning: Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual client needs, goals, and evidence-based practices
Therapeutic Interventions: Provide therapy sessions (individual, group, or family) using various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or other appropriate methods
Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including session notes, treatment plans, and progress reports.
Professional Development: Stay current with the latest research, trends, and best practices in mental health therapy through continuous education and training
Outcome Evaluation: Regularly assess and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and feedback to ensure effective and goal-oriented therapy
Qualifications:
Relevant master’s degree or higher (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)
Actively licensed (LICSW, LMHC, LCSW (supervision available))
Able to commute to the office location in Cranston, RI preferred
Experience providing psychotherapy in individual and/or group settings
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
