In this critical role, you’ll work directly with borrowers, guiding them through a seamless, white-glove experience from “contact to contract.” Your support will empower our Originators and Pre-Approval Specialists to focus on expanding their pipeline and creating lasting relationships with influential agents. What You’ll Do as a Loan Partner: • Create Lasting Relationships: Establish strong connections with referral partners, borrowers, and agents. You’re the face and heart of the loan process, ensuring clients feel supported every step of the way. • Guide Borrowers Through the Loan Process: Facilitate loan applications digitally, by phone, or in person, making it a smooth journey from start to finish. • Prepare for Success: Gather and organize all documentation needed for underwriting, ensuring our clients’ loans move seamlessly through the “contact to contract” phase. • Be the Primary Contact for Borrowers: Maintain consistent communication, addressing any questions or concerns so that clients feel informed and at ease. • Stay on Top of Mortgage Products and Procedures: Be knowledgeable in FHA, VA, CONV, and USDA products, so that you’re prepared to advise on all client scenarios. • Take the Lead in Communication: Keep the loan officer, processor, operations team, realtors, and all parties informed and engaged, creating a well-oiled process that keeps everyone in sync. • Solve Problems Before They Escalate: Handle loan “fires” with grace and expertise, ensuring obstacles are addressed before they affect timelines. • Embrace Continuous Learning: We encourage you to be a sponge for knowledge and grow within your role, contributing to process improvements that elevate our team’s success. Who You Are: • You’re a mortgage expert with at least 2+ years of continuous experience (5+ preferred) in a role such as Loan Officer Assistant, Loan Partner, Processor, Loan Officer, or Underwriter. • You know how to analyze credit reports, income, and asset documents, and you’re familiar with structuring loans and navigating FHA, VA, CONV, and USDA products. • NMLS licensed (or willing to become licensed). • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated by exceptional customer service. • Proficient in DU, LP, and mortgage systems with a deep understanding of procedures, documentation, and guidelines. • Skilled in communication with strong interpersonal abilities, ensuring that each client feels valued and informed. • Ready to support top-producing Originators by providing a seamless, well-coordinated, and CARE-ing experience to clients and referral partners alike.
