    Job Description

    The Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) provides essential support to patients by assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. LNAs work under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians, playing a crucial role in delivering compassionate and effective patient care. LNAs provide supervised, safe, and therapeutic environments for the developmentally disabled, and/or mentally ill in long-term care and acute settings.

    International SOS Government Medical Services is recruiting Licensed Nursing Assistant to support our medical staffing projects New Hampshire.

    Depending on our clients’ needs, LNAs may work in temporary, short-term, or long-term jobs. Recruited personnel might be working alongside our clients’ teams or as part of our own multidisciplinary teams, in secured state facilities, medically remote locations, industrial projects, our own clinics.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and using the bathroom.
    • Serve and feed patients according to their dietary needs.
    • Assist patients with interpersonal relationships and facilitate the adjustment to living environments.
    • Clean and maintain patient environments, including changing bed linens.
    • Monitor and record vital signs like blook pressure and temperature.
    • Help patients with mobility, including transferring them between wheelchairs, beds, and other seating.
    • Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent bedsores.
    • Provide basic physical assistance and support to patients.
    • Report any health concerns or changes in patients' condition to the supervising nurse or physician.
    • Assist in coordinating staff schedules and weekly patient assignments sheets for individualized patient care.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic Requirements/Certifications:

    • Minimum of one year of clinical experience in direct patient care as a Licensed Nurse Assistant.
    • Experience in detention or correctional healthcare, residential healthcare, a hospital, outpatient clinic, nursing home, or other supervised medical, nursing, or patient care facility that provided direct care.
    • Experience with pediatric and adult patients.

    Education Required:

    • Licensed in New Hampshire and have no record of prior or pending disciplinary action against him or her by the licensure body or agency.
    • Program must be accredited by an entity recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
    • Licensure must be maintained current, and any required education, trainings, continued education to maintain licensure must be completed within the required timeline for completion by the licensing/ certifying authority.
    • Candidate must not have been convicted of, pled guilty to, pled nolo contender to, or received probation before judgement for any crime other than a minor traffic violation, the record of which has not been expunged.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification must be from one of the following approved organizations:
    • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for health care providers
    • American Red Cross CPR/BLS for the professional rescuer
    • American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) CPR and AED for healthcare providers and professional responders
    • Course components must include Adult, Pediatric, and Infant CPR, Foreign Body Airway Obstruction, and Automatic Defibrillator (AED) proficiency.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
    • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
    • May require bending, stooping and lifting up to 15 lbs.

    Other Special Qualifications:

    • Must be able to read, write and speak English to effectively communicate.
    • US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required.
    • May be required to travel short notice, or to serve in various medical units within the region or location.

    Additional Information

    Compensation | Min: $15.00 Max: $20.00

    Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
