At PDS Optical, we are committed to delivering exceptional eyewear and outstanding service to our Veterans. We're seeking a New Jersey Licensed Optician to join our team at the Lyons, NJ location and help us uphold our mission of providing GREAT Veteran CARE!

Position Details:

• Full-time | Monday - Friday | ( 8:00 am-4:30 pm)
• No nights or weekends
• Pay Range: $30-35/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to Veterans.
• Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
• Work collaboratively to foster a positive and productive environment.
• Comply with security clearance requirements by successfully passing a background check.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of optician experience.
• New Jersey Optician license required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Skilled in fitting, adjusting, repairing, and selling eyewear.
• Proficient in using lensometers, pupilometers, and computers.
• Knowledge of VA benefits and discounts for optical services.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
