About Ellie
Ellie Mental Health was founded in 2015 by Erin Pash, LMFT and Kyle Keller, LICSW when they opened the first Ellie clinic in Minneapolis. Since then, the Ellie Fam has continued to grow with multiple clinics in Minnesota and a growing number of locally owned and operated franchises across the country.

The Position: As an Outpatient Therapist at Ellie Mental Health, you'll share our vision for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care and thrive in an environment driven by our core values of authenticity, humor, compassion, creativity, acceptance, and determination. You will own your client portfolio and optimally manage your hours with support from your supervisor.
So what does "Float" actually mean? As a float clinician, you will be working out of the Falmouth office and utilizing the offices currently occupied by our full time clinicians. Your will have a different but consistent shared office space assigned for each day of the week.
Responsibilities:
Clinical documentation:
Intake paperwork for services including bio-psychosocial assessments, assessment for medical necessity, provide/clarify diagnosis, and create and implement initial treatment plans.
Complete ongoing documentation in a timely manner including annual assessments, re-assessment of diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, insurance reviews, collateral contacts, progress notes, and other documentation as appropriate according to company policy/protocol and client needs.
Provide excellent clinical services for clients through the use of creativity and innovative therapy tools to help clients achieve and exceed their goals.
Coordinate services/referrals and collaborate with families and professional supports including: work personnel, medical/med management personnel, case managers, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
Collaborate with a dynamic and passionate team to further the mission of filling the gaps in our community.
Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings, administrative meetings, individual supervision, and trainings.
Maintain an unrestricted active clinical license for practice. Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week to be considered full time status and receive benefits. The schedule is flexible and based on your availability!

Required Qualifications and Skills:
Have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral health sciences from an accredited college or university, and on track to obtain clinical licensure to practice in their designated field.
Have a Maine-issued clinical license to practice as an LCPC, LCSW, or LMSW-CC. PLEASE NOTE: Due to supervisory restrictions this position is not open to LCPC-c applicants.
Required experience with completing bio-psychosocial/diagnostic assessments, treatment plans and clinical progress notes.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to demonstrate and model stable appropriate boundaries with clients and engage in ethical practice.
Organized and reliable, including the ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner.
Ability to manage and own client portfolio with Clinic Director's oversight.
Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base demonstrating compassion and acceptance.
Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus!)
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment that values humor and authenticity.
A passion for de-stigmatizing mental health and willingness to support efforts through community involvement.
Willingness to be completely transparent and genuine with a dab of levity and dollop of passion and enthusiasm!
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Focus on work with children, adolescents, young adults, and families a plus!
Fully Licensed Clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels.
Registration or certification in one of the expressive arts therapies.
Specialized training in other innovative, creative, and/or holistic therapy approaches.
