Job Title: Personal Lines Insurance Specialist Location: The Crissen Agency - Shelter Insurance Reports to: Sales Manager/Agency Owner
Job Summary: The Personal Lines Specialist is a results-driven professional responsible for marketing of personal lines insurance products, including auto, home, and life insurance. This role focuses having strong self-initiative, taking advantage of innovative strategies, and the ability to build strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
Develop and implement proactive sales strategies to meet and exceed standards for personal lines insurance products.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, marketing, and lead-generation activities.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by providing personalized insurance solutions.
Regularly review clients’ insurance portfolios to ensure their coverage remains adequate and up-to-date.
Customer Service Excellence:
Educate clients on the benefits of various personal lines insurance products and assist them in making informed decisions.
Ensure a high level of client satisfaction and retention through continuous follow-up and engagement.
Community Engagement and Networking:
Actively participate in community events, local business networks, and professional associations to enhance the agency’s visibility and reputation.
Represent the agency at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
Work closely with team members to ensure a seamless client experience.
Share market insights and sales strategies with team members to support collective growth goals.
Participate in regular sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Utilize software and other sales tools to track and analyze sales activities, client interactions, and performance metrics.
Continuously refine sales strategies based on data insights and client feedback.
Qualifications:
Willing to obtain or actively hold a Personal Lines insurance license prior to employment.
Experience in developing and executing aggressive sales strategies and initiatives.
Successfully pass a background report.
