Responsibilities: • Present existing and prospective customers with individualized policy options, quote calculations, and educational materials to meet their needs • Check insurance policies for accuracy, coverage, and limits to determine whether modifications are necessary • Maintain a high standard of customer service excellence when solving billing, policy change, claims, or coverage related issues • Identify and secure new business through creative sales tactics, including networking and cold calling • Keep accurate personal information for all sales prospects and customers within insurance company databases Qualifications: • Must be an effective collaborator who takes a goal-oriented approach to sales • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent insurance industry experience and a high school diploma are required • Stellar verbal and written communications skills mandatory • Valid, state issued insurance license is mandatory: Property and Casualty Insurance License and/or Life and Health Insurance License • Strong aptitude for computer programs including Microsoft Office required; agency management system experience preferred Compensation: $45,000 - $75,000 at plan earnings
