    Job Type: Full-Time (Weekend Only)

    Work Schedule:

    Friday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

    Saturday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

    Sunday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

    Your Role:

    As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in daily pharmacy operations, ensuring the accurate preparation and dispensing of medications while providing exceptional customer service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Exceptional Customer Service:

    Greet patients and clinic guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.

    Answer, return, and forward telephone calls as needed.

    Take and distribute messages to the appropriate staff.

    Inventory & Medication Management:

    Monitor and update medication inventory in the computer system.

    Reorder medications daily through the wholesaler website.

    Organize stock and ensure medications are arranged by expiration date.

    Verify quantities against invoices and update records accordingly.

    Pharmacy Services (Within Scope of Practice):

    Assist in typing electronic prescriptions (e-scripts).

    Prepare prescription bottles, fill medications, and affix labels accurately.

    Process insurance claims and resolve rejected claims as needed.

    Contact insurance providers for claim resolution.

    Maintain accurate filing of prescription hardcopies.

    Order, receive, and stock necessary supplies (labels, vials, stock bottles, etc.).

    Ensure compliance with company procedures, state and federal regulations.

    Outdated Medication Management:

    Identify and mark medications that will expire within 6 months.

    Remove expired medications from dispensing inventory.

    Electronic Health Records (EHR) Management:

    Communicate patient needs with other team members through EHR.

    Maintain accurate documentation within various pharmacy and patient record systems.

    What We’re Looking For:

    Required Qualifications:

    Valid Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician License (must be current).

    High school diploma or GED required.

    Previous experience working in a pharmacy setting.

    Strong customer service and computer skills.

    A team player with a positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively.

    Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

    Bilingual in English/Spanish is a PLUS

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to stand for extended periods while performing job duties.

    Good manual dexterity and vision for medication preparation.

    Must be able to bend, stoop, and move efficiently in a confined work area.

    May be exposed to infectious diseases and occupational hazards associated with a pharmacy setting.

    Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed.
