We're looking for a Licensed Physical Therapist who is passionate about helping patients and finding a better work-life balance for themselves. As a licensed physical therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of out-patients including those with mobility issues, injuries, post-surgery etc. to develop their treatment plan toward full recovery back to their goals. You will be responsible for creating personalized evidence-based PT and fitness plans while also providing them with manual therapy skills to alleviate pain and improve mobility. Our ideal candidate will have a Texas license, the ability to work on-site in Central Austin, and experience with a wide range of patient issues. Manual therapy certifications a bonus. Responsibilities: • Talk to patients and assess their physical condition including any injuries or mobility issues • Obtain advice from and work together with other healthcare professionals • Maintain accurate records of patient treatment and follow all applicable policies and procedures • Create treatment strategies using a range of therapeutic methods for each patient • Evaluate and interpret findings from the patient's tests results and assessments • Able to efficiently and effectively assess patient's orthopedic injuries to create a plan of care, follow up with re-evaluations in a timely manner, and perform discharge evaluations as appropriate • Willing to participate in receiving specialized scoliosis training to become a Schroth practitioner • Able to learn and utilize the EMR system used which is JANEapp for documentation and hourly patient schedule. • Be willing to participate in other orthopedic programs as they enhance patient care including, but not limited to, osteoporosis, strength training, grade 4 deep tissue medical laser, workshops, community events • Be willing to participate in creation of social media awareness including, but not limited to, exercise videos, blog clips, social media posts etc. Qualifications: • This position requires you to be currently licensed in the state you practice • Passage of the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) is required for this position • Must have exceptional analytical skills, communication skills, and observational skills • Previous experience working with patients in a healthcare environment is highly desired • Must have a bachelor’s degree or higher and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Compensation: $80,500 - $85,000
