Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
The SEROTONIN Anti-Aging Centers Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) helps clients/members/guest by
providing clinical and business office assistance. LPNs provide support to health care providers
including physicians, Nurse Practitioner (NP), estheticians and Health Coaches (HC).
Responsibilities:
- Prepares clients/members/guest for the health care visit by directing and/or
accompanying them to the treatment room, providing gowns and drapes, helping them
to prepare client for the treatment, arranging examining room instruments, supplies
and equipment
- Verifies client information by reviewing and/or recording medical history, taking vital
signs, confirming purpose of visit or treatment etc.
- Supports client care delivery by helping health care providers during treatment,
preparing laboratory specimens, performing basic laboratory test, disposing of
contaminated supplies, sterilizing medical instruments, administering medications on
the premise, authorizing drug refills as directed, telephoning prescriptions and drawing
blood etc.
- Educates clients by providing medications and diet information and instructions
- Completes records by recording client examinations, treatment and test results
- Generates revenues by charting for services rendered
- Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders and verifying receipt
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting
breakdowns, maintaining products and supplies and performing preventive
maintenance
- Maintain safe, secure and healthy work environment by following and enforcing
standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations
- Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping client care information
confidential
- Serves and protects SEROTIN Anti-Aging Centers by adhering to professional standards,
policies and procedures, federal, state and local requirements and joint Commission on
Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) standards
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading
professional publications
Certified Medical Assistant Qualification and Skills:
- Preferred 2 years of clinical experience in the Anti-Aging/Health Promotion field
- Ability to create a safe environment
- Maintenance/adherence of procedural skills
- Documentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Inventory control
- Planning and organizational skills
- Zenoti software experience preferred.
