**Key Responsibilities: **
- **Patient Care: ** Provide direct nursing care to patients with SUD, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assessing patient responses to treatment.
- **Support Treatment Plans: ** Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement and evaluate individualized treatment plans for patients, ensuring comprehensive care.
- **Patient Education: ** Educate patients and their families about SUD, medication management, and healthy coping strategies to support recovery.
- **Documentation: ** Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, care plans, medication administration, and progress notes.
- **Crisis Intervention: ** Respond to medical emergencies and crises, applying appropriate interventions in a timely manner.
- **Coordination of Care: ** Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and refer patients to additional services as needed.
- **Compliance: ** Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure a safe and compliant environment.
- **Advocacy: ** Serve as an advocate for patients, promoting their rights and dignity throughout the treatment process.

**Qualifications: **
- **Education: ** Completion of a Practical Nursing program from an accredited institution.
- **Licensure: ** Current and valid LPN license in the state of Kansas.
- **Experience: ** Previous experience in addiction treatment, mental health, or a related field preferred.
- **Skills: **
- Strong clinical assessment and nursing skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Knowledge of SUD treatment modalities and compliance with relevant regulations.
**Certifications: ** CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Additional certifications in substance use treatment (e.g., MAT, ASAM) are a plus.
