    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of our physicians. The LPN will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive optimal care and support in a compassionate and respectful manner.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Clinical Duties:- Obtain patient medical histories and vital signs.- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.- Prepare and administer medications and vaccinations as directed.-Perform laboratory tests and prepare specimens for lab analysis and processing. Ability to function as lead lab "Procedure" on a daily basis.

    2. Administrative Duties:- Handle patient intake and registration, ensuring accurate data entry.- Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure patient confidentiality.- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.

    3. Patient Care:- Provide compassionate support and education to patients regarding procedures and health management.- Assist patients with questions and concerns related to their healthcare needs.- Ensure a welcoming and safe environment for patients and their families.

    4. Collaboration:- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.- Adhere to established healthcare protocols, policies, and best practices.

    Physical Requirements:

    - Ability to stand for extended periods and perform some lifting.- Manual dexterity for performing clinical tasks.

    Qualifications:

    - Current and valid LPN license in Indiana.
    - Completed LPN program from an accredited institution.
    - Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in pediatrics.
    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with patients and families.
    - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
    - Basic computer skills for documentation and patient care management.

    Physical Requirements:

    - Ability to lift and transfer patients as needed.
    - Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
    - Requires manual dexterity to perform tasks such as the administration of injections and medication preparation.
