Job Overview
Provides administrative, secretarial, and clerical support to others in the office to maintain an efficient office environment. This position is 30 hours a week with a set schedule. No Holidays or Weekends. Work schedule as follows: Monday: 11am to 7:30 pm, Tuesday: 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, Wednesday: off, Thursday: 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, Friday: off, Saturday and Sunday: off.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the adult daycare center
· Designing and implementing programs that cater to the needs of the adults in care, including recreational activities, physical therapy sessions, and educational programs . Supervises clinical students and Care Aides
· Recruiting, training, and supervising staff, including care workers, therapists, and volunteers
· Ensuring that the center complies with all local, state, and federal regulations and maintains appropriate licensing
· Communicating with family members and caregivers regarding the individual needs and progress of the adults in care
· Maintaining a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for all adults in care
· Coordinating with healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure the health and well-being of the adults in care . Manage the schedule for the homecare agency and assist with new home assessments for the Homecare agency
· Keeping accurate records of the adults’ medical histories, daily activities, and any changes in their physical or mental condition
· Organizing transportation for adults to and from the center, as well as for any necessary medical appointments or outings
· Complete incident reports, complaints, 90-day surveys and build positive relationships with the clients and employees.
· Keep the Director and Health Coordinator informed.
· Perform all duties of the Caregiver Trainer while working with individuals we support.
. Medication Passes to the participants in the Adult Day Center
· Other reasonable duties as assigned and any other duties that may be required of you within your scope of practice.
Requirements:
· 18 years of age or older.
· High school diploma or GED.
· Post-high school education is advantageous. . Valid Licensed Practical Nursing License through the State of Indiana with no pending or active violations on Licenses. The selected candidate will be required to submit proof, in the form of official transcripts, of any and all required education attained by the applicant which is indicated on the application and/or resume prior to date of hire.
· Previous experience in an Adult Day Center or similar setting
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
· The ability to type and file accurately.
· Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
· Good telephone etiquette. To be successful as a scheduler, you should be helpful and courteous when answering telephone calls. Ultimately, an exceptional scheduler should be able to build and maintain a good rapport with referring physicians and staff.

Education and Experience
· Licensed Practical Nursing License active with the State of Indiana
· Business college training an advantage.
· Previous office experience may be requested but this can also be an entry level position.
