    Summary: 

    Our award-winning client is seeking an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join their team.The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) plays a vital role in providing quality patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. This position requires a strong commitment to patient well-being, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of nursing principles and procedures. The LPN/LVN will assist in various nursing duties, including medication administration, patient monitoring, and providing basic patient care.

    Responsibilities: 

    • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
    • Monitor vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
    • Administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
    • Collect specimens, such as blood and urine samples.
    • Perform basic nursing procedures, such as wound care and catheterization.
    • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
    • Maintain patient charts and records.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
    • Report any changes in patient condition to the registered nurse.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
    • Participate in team meetings and in-service training.
    • Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
    • Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients.

    Required Qualifications: 

    • Graduate from an accredited LPN/LVN program.
    • Current LPN/LVN license in good standing.

    Experience:

    • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
