Your Role as a Licensed Professional Counselor
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will provide trauma-informed, client-centered care. In this position, you’ll assess clients' mental health, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with internal and external care team members to support their well-being. You’ll uphold our mission by fostering a safe, unbiased, and confidential environment.
What You’ll Achieve:
Provide trauma-informed counseling services using evidence-based assessments and interventions.
Develop and implement treatment plans with measurable objectives based on diagnostic assessments following DSM-5-TR standards.
Maintain CMS-compliant documentation and ensure timely, accurate record-keeping in our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
Assess clients' mental and behavioral health conditions and collaborate with internal and external providers.
Conduct crisis interventions as needed and make appropriate referrals.
Uphold HIPAA compliance to maintain a safe and confidential environment for staff and clients.
Build positive rapport with a diverse patient population, ensuring a respectful and inclusive approach.
Support our program goals by helping reduce cultural and socioeconomic barriers to care.
Contribute to a supportive, trauma-informed, and collaborative clinic culture.

Who We’re Looking For:
Master’s degree in counseling from an accredited university.
Unrestricted Oregon License as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
LPCs from other states are encouraged to apply (upon obtaining Oregon licensure).
Preferred: 1+ years of experience in an outpatient behavioral/mental health setting.
Preferred: Experience working with clients from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.
Preferred: Experience working with complex mental health disorders (e.g., BPD, PTSD, OCD, CPTSD).
Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHR systems.
