Licensed School Social Worker
The Center for Special Education Services (CSES) provides interprofessional, in-person assessment in areas of speech-language, psychology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and social work to school districts throughout Illinois.
We are seeking an experienced, Licensed Bilingual Speech Therapist (PEL) to join our fast-growing, hybrid evaluation team! Our contract assessment team members enjoy excellent compensation while working on their own schedule.
As a member of the CSES evaluation team, you will complete in-person assessment of students for triennial, initial, ECAT evaluations and provide a comprehensive evaluation report for the purposes of special education eligibility. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of speech pathology, familiarity with common assessment tools, and understanding of the special education process, and has excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities
Complete special education assessment of early childhood, elementary, and high school students within your geographical area.
Write assessment reports within 10 days of evaluation.
Attend eligibility meetings virtually, as requested by districts and according to your schedule
Maintaining excellent records (protocols, notes, teacher /parent input interview if applicable)
Qualifications
Active state license for practicing speech therapy
PEL required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Self-starter and works well independently and with others.
Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive.
Ability to travel within 1 hour of home.
