SOS Personnel is seeking to hire a qualified Licensed Speech/Language Therapist for the Mariano Lake Community School in Crown Point, NM.
Period of Performance: Estimated January 1 – June 30, 2025
Weekly Schedule: Five hours per day, 2 days a week
Schedule:
Day 1 - 12:30-3:00 then 3:00-5:00
Day 2 - 12:30-3:00 then 3:00-5:00
The ideal candidate will have the following skillsets:
Must have 1 or more years of experience as a Speech Language therapist.
Must have at least 1 year of experience in a school setting.
Must have at least 1 of year of experience working with K-12 children.
Must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Therapy and the American Speech Language Hearing Association Certification (ASHA), or completion of a Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) and evidence of successful completion of national exams.
Must have a certificate of clinical competency from a board recognized national speech language association or proof of completion of the clinical fellowship year or equivalent.
Must have proof of having passed a nationally recognized standard examination in speech language pathology.
Must have proof of having passed the jurisprudence examination with a grade of no less than seventy percent.
Must be licensed in the state of New Mexico and maintain the Speech-Language Pathologist licensure from the New Mexico Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, & Hearing Aid Dispensing Practices Board.
Scope of Work:
The ideal candidate will provide Licensed Speech Language Therapy services for 10 identified students who have been referred, as possibly in need of special education and related services.
The ideal candidate will Participate in the development of an Evaluation Team Summary Report (ETSR) which is an accepted report format for the BIE-funded schools’ evaluations.
The ideal candidate will provide weekly on-site services during the school year; as warranted by student need.
