    Seeking: Independently Licensed Therapist (LISAC Preferred) Job Title: Primary Therapist Reports To: Clinical Supervisor FLSA Designation: Full-time, Non-exempt Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm

    Job Summary:

    Under the direction of the Treatment Director, the Primary Therapist provides direct client care under the supervision of the Clinical Director. This role involves maintaining a safe and efficient treatment environment and effective communication with the treatment team. We primarily serve clients with substance use disorders (SUD) and seek someone experienced in this area. This is an in-person position.

    Essential Job Functions:

    Provide individual and group therapy, 12-step recovery discussions, health and wellness promotion, and crisis management.

    Conduct assessments to evaluate client needs and develop treatment plans.

    Implement and monitor individual treatment plans.

    Handle intake documentation and prepare client-related documentation.

    Ensure timely completion of required documentation.

    Coordinate care, including case reviews and therapeutic interventions.

    Sign off on clinical documentation as needed.

    Attend weekly staff and clinical review meetings.

    Perform other tasks as assigned.

    Education and Experience:

    Independent Arizona Behavioral Health License (LISAC preferred)

    Strong knowledge of 12-step recovery (personal recovery experience preferred)

    Master’s degree in behavioral health

    Authorized Clinical Supervisor

    EMDR Trained or Certified (preferred)

    Trauma work

    Sand Play

    Knowledge, Abilities, and Attitudes Required:

    Proficiency in computer software, especially EMR (KIPU) MS Office, Teams, Outlook

    Experience in counseling and case management with substance abuse clients.

    Ability to prepare and analyze treatment plans and psychiatric reports.

    Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to maintain ethical standards and confidentiality.

    Commitment to respecting cultural differences and protecting client rights.

    Ability to recognize symptoms of mental disorders and substance abuse.

    Ability to respond to emergencies and deescelate
