Accentus Health TMS is currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. This position requires a professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing quality care to our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work or a related field, a valid license to practice in Indiana. The successful candidate must also possess strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of mental health issues.
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor will provide evidence-based, trauma-informed counseling to individuals, couples, and families. This individual will assess client needs, develop treatment plans, and provide individual and group counseling. They will also serve as a collaborative member of an interdisciplinary team and refer clients to appropriate services and resources.

Responsibilities:
Provide Counseling and Therapy:
Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to understand clients' needs, history, and treatment goals.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address generational trauma, coping skills, and life satisfaction.
Offer culturally sensitive counseling to individuals, couples, and families, using a strength-based approach to facilitate healing, growth, and positive change.
Regularly evaluate clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and any required insurance documentation, adhering to ethical and legal guidelines.
Complete all necessary paperwork in a timely manner, including insurance billing and authorization forms, ensuring compliance with state and insurance regulations.
Collaboration and Networking:
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to provide best practices and support to clients.
Engage in networking activities and participate in professional development opportunities to stay informed about the latest research, interventions, and best practices in mental health counseling.
Adherence to Ethical Standards:
Uphold ethical standards and professional codes of conduct in all aspects of practice, including maintaining appropriate boundaries, confidentiality, and professional integrity.
Qualifications:
Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
Current and unrestricted license to practice as a mental health counselor or therapist in the state of Indiana, preferred. Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC), Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT), Health Service Provider in Psychology (HSPP), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Minimum of 2 years of experience providing counseling or therapy services preferred, experience working in the mental health field.
Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care, culturally sensitive counseling approaches, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Experience working with couples preferred.
Certification in EMDR preferred but not required, CBT, and DBT.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build strong therapeutic relationships.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
