    Responsibilities

    Speak with pet owners to obtain a thorough patient history

    Take vital signs and acquire lab samples

    Run in-house diagnostics (CBC/Chem/UA, cytologies, etc.)

    Perform body and dental radiographs

    Assist with surgeries, monitor pets during and after surgery

    Administer medications and provide discharge instructions for clients

    Keep accurate patient records

    Qualifications

    Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role

    Knowledge of animal care and handling

    Excellent communication skills

    Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a busy environment

    Patience and empathy for pet owners from all walks of life

    Fear-free certification is preferred!
