Job Overview:

• **Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) ******
• Location: Santa Maria, California
• Type of Assignment: Contract (13 weeks)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: 5x8 hours, 40 hours a week
• Shift Hours : 08:00 – 05:30
• Pay Rate: $40 - $42 per hour

Qualifications :

• Valid California LVN License
• BLS Certificatio n (must be through American Heart Association - AHA))
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Home Health LVN
• Patient Load & Ratios: patient load is based on productivity, usually about 5 visits per day. A dmission is usually equivalent to two patients.
• EMR: Netsmart which was formerly known as Allscripts
• Common diagnosis / Types of patients: pt infusions, IV antibiotics, TPN, central lines, PICC lines, blood draws
• May have to take call, call is usually required 2-4x per month for the weekdays, schedule is 5pm-8am. May have to do infusions for peds, if the visit is related to pediatric condition they will be sent to ER for evaluation, most/if not all of pt population is not peds
