Responsibilities: • Evaluate new customers’ insurance needs, insurance risk, existing coverage, long-term goals, and financial status through consultations to create a tailored experience that exceeds expectations • Process current policyholders’ insurance claims while monitoring the status of existing insurance claims • Onboard incoming and retain existing clients via a variety of customer service tasks, such as appointment booking, and responding to inquiries regarding billing, coverage, eligibility, and insurance policies • Maintain databases, records, and bookkeeping, ensuring all paperwork is up to date • Grow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products via networking, asking for referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies Qualifications: • Background in the health insurance or life insurance industries preferred • Current Life & Health insurance license is greatly valued • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required • Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus • Previous customer service or experience as a sales representative preferred Compensation: $64,500 - $73,000 yearly
