Our insurance agency is expanding and needs the help of a Life Insurance Agent to grow our list of prospective clients and onboard new clients. We're directly responsible for handling asset protection and Insurance benefit options for Local, regional, and various organizations from Police departments, School boards of education officials, and Multiple Government agencies at the local and state level. Our ideal candidate will embrace the opportunity to drive sales among existing clients and new clients through a mix of networking, referrals, PR marketing strategies as well as Social Media platforms. Also, the ideal candidate is great with people, and harbors incredible customer service skills and a passion for helping those in need. Responsibilities: • Evaluate new customers’ insurance needs, insurance risk, existing coverage, long-term goals, and financial status through consultations to create a tailored experience that exceeds expectations • Ensure all contracting paperwork is up to date while maintaining databases, records, and bookkeeping • Onboard incoming and retain existing clients via a variety of customer service tasks, such as appointment booking, and responding to inquiries regarding billing, coverage, eligibility, and insurance policies • Assist current policyholders during the insurance claims process while overseeing existing insurance claims Qualifications: • Previous customer service or experience as a sales representative preferred • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must • Current Life & Health insurance license is greatly valued • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite • Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus Compensation: $65,000 yearly
