Responsibilities: • Develop a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other marketing strategies to secure new business • Maintain databases, records, and bookkeeping, ensuring all paperwork is up to date • Assist current policyholders during the insurance claims process while overseeing existing insurance claims • Evaluate new customers’ insurance needs, insurance risk, existing coverage, long-term goals, and financial status through consultations to create a tailored experience that exceeds expectations • Address existing and prospective customer requests in a prompt and friendly matter, including booking new meetings and responding to inquiries regarding billing, eligibility, coverage, claims, and insurance policies • Collaborate with policyholders to develop insurance risk management and other profiles that specify the best policies for their evolving insurance needs • Commit to remaining educated about the various types of insurance, insurance-related protocols, and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of program requirements and ensure our customers are satisfied • Serve as an attentive listener when communicating with new and potential clients in order to accurately identify their unique needs prior to pursuing specific insurance sales • Offer personal attention when pursuing new clients through various marketing strategies to grow your existing portfolio of policyholders • Keep an accurate log of sales databases, client reports, bookkeeping records, and more to share progress toward goals with key stakeholders Qualifications: • Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus • Skilled with Microsoft Office • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required • Customer service or experience as a sales representative are highly valued • Current Life & Health insurance license is greatly valued • Self-motivated and hardworking Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 at plan earnings
