Life & Health Insurance Sales Agent
Our rapidly expanding insurance agency is looking for a full-time life insurance agent to join our team! You’ll grow a list of prospective clients, market our insurance products, showcase our offerings to new customers, and help policyholders navigate the claims process. We’ll provide the support network and resources to help you reach - and exceed - your goals. Responsibilities: • Provide warm and professional customer service while onboarding new clients and maintain existing clients, including booking appointments, inquiry response, insurance eligibility, claim submissions questions concerning billing and insurance policies • Determine new customers’ insurance needs, desires, insurance risk, prior coverage, and financial standing via booked consultations to ensure the best client experience possible • Grow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products via networking, asking for referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies • Research and provide financial advice and strategies through educational meetings or seminars that are suitable based on client risk tolerance and financial objectives • Assess each client’s potential life and financial needs to create an individualized financial plan that leverages the products and services we offer • Use a CRM to organize each client’s financial status, goals, cash flow, and monetary expectations for use in their individual financial plan • Help clients implement financial recommendations such as life insurance, savings plans, mutual funds, and other financial products • Leverage marketing and social media tools to identify, pursue, and secure new clients who can benefit from having a trusted financial service professional Qualifications: • Prior health insurance or life insurance experience a bonus • Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite • Possesses outstanding interpersonal and communication skills • Current Life & Health insurance license is greatly valued • Candidates with active investment licenses preferred Compensation: $80,000 - $150,000 yearly
