    If this sounds like you, you are a great candidate for our Processing Specialist. Life Protect 24/7 is dedicated to encouraging independent lifestyles by providing medical alert devices. We are looking for an engaged individual to support the Processing Department in meeting quality control standards for returned medical alert devices.

    How do you do that?

    Under supervision of the Processing Manager, you will assist the Processing Team in reducing costs for new inventory by processing returned medical devices, refurbishing, charging, and testing new and refurbished products. As part of the processing team, Processing Specialists are expected to meet daily quotas and all quality control standards for the amount of product successfully processed, refurbished, charged and tested and to maintain accuracy. Processing Specialists need to demonstrate the ability to accurately follow department processes and procedures to successfully complete all duties in the processing department in a timely and sufficient manner.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Correctly identify why packages are being returned to Life Protect 24/7 and follow correct procedures for processing

    • Accurately sort processed returns into appropriate categories for processing by Refurbishment, Device, or Fulfillment Teams

    • Complete product refurbishment by cleaning/replacing device accessories and packaging, replacing paperwork, and assembling components

    • Charge medical devices, waiting and verifying each devices is fully charged, and removing from cradle once charging is completed

    • Test returned products to ensure devices are able to successfully connect to the monitoring center

    • Test new products to ensure successful connection to the monitoring center

    • Maintain accurate notes on testing failures (i.e. device behavior and how the device is failing testing) for accurate diagnosis by the Device Analyst

    • Uphold all departmental safety regulations

    What you offer:

    • Must be at least 18 years of age

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    • Basic computer knowledge

    • Ability to perform cleaning duties associated with the refurbishment process

    • Ability to pull, bend, stand or sit for prolonged periods of time

    • Ability to use refurbishment tools and general warehouse equipment, PPE,and lifting/moving of boxes (less than or equal to 40 lbs).

    • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time

    Pay: $14/hour

    Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
