Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess patients' mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, monitoring patients for side effects and effectiveness.
- Provide psychotherapy, counseling, and support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and primary care providers, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with state regulations and policies.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices, treatment modalities, and mental health trends.
- Advocate for patient needs and support their journey towards recovery.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialty in Psychiatric Mental Health from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by a recognized certifying body.
- Active Oregon state nursing license or eligibility for licensure.
- Previous clinical experience in a mental health setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with diverse patient populations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
