    Job Description

    The Lift Lab Team Training Coach leads various high-intensity exercise sessions and activities designed to improve participants’ physical fitness and overall well-being. Lift Lab sessions are exclusive to Chuze Fitness Colorado - and we'd love to have you be a part of these special sessions!

    We are looking for all availability - specifically Monday & Tuesday evenings, and/or early Wednesday mornings. Someone with early morning weekday availability and weekend availability would also be a plus.

    You'll cultivate a spirit of camaraderie, catering to individual needs in a dynamic and energetic environment while delivering safe, effective, and physiologically sound workouts. As a fitness ambassador and expert, you'll play a vital role in fostering meaningful interactions and relationships and deliver stellar Chuze experiences for members at every stage of their fitness journey. This is a part-time position.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Build a strong rapport and sense of community with members by maintaining a consistent coaching schedule and providing safe and motivating sessions for participants
    • Deliver classes within Chuze guidelines, arriving to each class with prepared with any necessary equipment and music with adherence to licensing agency requirements
    • Complete Chuze onboarding and training materials before teaching live sessions and maintain knowledge of updates
    • Maintain Chuze cleanliness standards during and after sessions and ensure gym presentation is always extraordinarily clean
    • Engage in the growth and development process by utilizing feedback received from the Fitness Manager through regular check-ins, training, and session evaluations
    • Participate in ongoing fitness industry education and maintain proof of current credentials
    • Maintain professional relationships through communication and teamwork with all Chuze staff to meet member and facility needs
    • Attend and participate in regularly scheduled Fitness department meetings and special promotional events to promote participation in Chuze Fitness offerings
    • Utilize the Fitness Communication Platform for essential department communications

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required

    • 1 year experience as a Fitness Professional with current, nationally recognized certification (CPT)
    • Current CPR/AED certification (or obtain within the first 60 days of employment)
    • Ability to lead and motivate a large group while providing empowered cueing to all fitness levels
    • Excellent team-based communication with the capacity to receive and deliver feedback
    • Ability to operate basic Audio/Visual equipment
    • Organized self-starter with effective problem-solving and multitasking skills
    • Ability to maintain appropriate confidentiality and build rapport with members and fellow employees
    • Essential Physical Requirements:
      • Read, write, and speak clearly in English
      • Walking and climbing stairs
      • Leading and performing high-intensity workouts
      • Ability to lift at least 50lbs

    Preferred

    • TRX training certified (preferred)
