    Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled and reliable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes according to the restaurant's menu standards, ensuring high-quality food is consistently served. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to maintain an efficient and clean work environment while providing excellent service to our guests.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards, ensuring food is prepared and served in a timely manner.

    Station Setup: Set up and stock your assigned cooking station with the necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment before service.

    Food Presentation: Ensure that all dishes are presented according to restaurant standards, with attention to detail in plating and garnishing.

    Quality Control: Maintain consistency and high quality in the preparation and presentation of food items. Address any issues with food quality during service.

    Cleaning & Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workstation. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized, and assist in maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness.

    Inventory Management: Keep track of stock levels for your station and communicate with the Kitchen Manager about inventory needs.

    Teamwork & Communication: Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth and efficient service. Communicate any issues or special requests with the kitchen manager or other staff members.

    Food Safety & Hygiene: Follow all food safety guidelines, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices to ensure a safe and clean working environment.

    Qualifications:

    Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role.

    Basic understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.

    Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in food preparation.

    Strong work ethic and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

    Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

    Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

    Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to stand and work for long periods.

    Ability to lift heavy items (up to [Insert weight]) as required.

    Ability to work in a hot and sometimes stressful environment.
