    Company Description

    The Catching Group is a Hospitality Management Group based in Miami, FL, and it owns and manages two full service restaurant brands: 107 Taste and Cajun Boil. Both brands operate in several locations in the Greater Miami area.

    Cajun Boil Cajun Boil is a New Orleans style Seafood restaurant and currently has three locations. Cajun Boil Brickell is seeking Line Cook to become an integral part of our team!

    Responsibilities:

    Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and standards set by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager. Ensure that all food is cooked and presented to the highest quality.

    Station Management: Manage and maintain your assigned station, including prepping ingredients, setting up cooking stations, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.

    Quality Control: Monitor food quality and portion sizes to ensure consistency and adherence to recipes. Make adjustments as necessary to maintain high standards.

    Time Management: Work efficiently to prepare dishes in a timely manner, especially during peak hours. Prioritize tasks and handle multiple orders simultaneously.

    Sanitation and Safety: Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation practices, and kitchen cleanliness. Maintain a clean and organized work area.

    Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff, including line cooks, sous chefs, and dishwashers, to ensure smooth operations and timely service.

    Inventory Management: Assist with inventory checks and manage ingredients to minimize waste. Report any shortages or equipment issues to the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.

    Adaptability: Be prepared to work on various stations and handle different types of cuisine as needed. Adapt to changes in the menu or special requests from customers.

    Qualifications:

    Experience: Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role is preferred but not always required. On-the-job training may be provided.

    Skills: Strong cooking skills, knowledge of food safety practices, and the ability to work under pressure. Good knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment.

    Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work in a fast-paced environment.

    Communication: Good communication skills to work effectively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel.
