  • Responsibilities

    The Hilton Charlotte University Place is hiring a Line Cook. Must be able to prep and cook and learn all stations with restaurant and a la carte experience required. Experience with banquets and event execution is preferred, but not required. Extended hours may be required based on business demands for that day. Shifts typically run from 5:30 am - 2:00 pm for days and from 3 pm to 11 pm for nights. Responsibilities: • Performs all methods of cooking and portion control in accordance with hotel specifications. · • Must have working knowledge of all kitchen equipment including but not limited to; ovens, grills, broilers, fryers, steam tables, mixers, knives, slicers, etc. • Properly uses all kitchen equipment and ensures the proper and safe use of all equipment. • Maintains food line to ensure that all required items are properly stocked. • Continuously stocks and restocks items as needed. • Maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation of all cooking equipment used during specified shifts. • Completes all assigned cleaning functions as specified by a supervisor during the working shift. • Responsible for ensuring that all food is properly handled and stored. • Must wear required uniform, and must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance. Qualifications: • Previous experience as a Line/Prep Cook or experience in a full-service kitchen • Previous experience in Restaurant Type: Bar • Hotel dining restaurant All employees are expected to comply
