We are looking for a skilled and passionate Line cook to join our team at Gemelle! This individual needs to thrive in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to delivering high-quality dishes to our guests.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
· Maintain a clean and organized workstation while ensuring timely service during peak hours.
· Monitor food quality and portion sizes to ensure consistency and adherence to restaurant standards.
· Work closely with fellow kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations and efficient service.
· Assist in managing inventory levels and communicating any shortages or issues to management.
· Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe kitchen environment.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role.
· Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
· Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
· Strong teamwork and communication skills.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
· Food Handlers Certification is required.
