As we continue to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and talented Line Cook to join our culinary team.
Job Summary: As a Line Cook at Locanda Ischia, you will be an integral part of our kitchen, ensuring the preparation and cooking of high-quality Italian dishes. You’ll work closely with our kitchen staff to deliver delicious meals in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Your attention to detail and passion for cooking will contribute to our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook food to order, ensuring the highest quality and consistency.
Follow recipes and presentation standards for all dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including prep stations and work areas.
Assist with inventory management and food storage, ensuring items are fresh and well-stocked.
Ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are followed.
Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to complete orders efficiently.
Communicate effectively with the front-of-house team to ensure a smooth service.
Support other kitchen tasks as needed, including prep work, dishwashing, or food prep for special events.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a fast-paced kitchen environment is preferred.
Knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques is a plus.
Ability to follow recipes and execute dishes to high standards.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Food safety certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain).
