Society 8 Hospitality is a local hospitality management company in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Line Cook position will be for Sistrunk Marketplace locating close to Andrews Ave and Sistrunk Blvd.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grill Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of grilled dishes in accordance with our menu and quality standards. Your expertise in culinary techniques and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

Duties:

• Prepare and cook dishes, according to established recipes and guidelines

• Ensure that all food items are cooked to the appropriate temperature and presented in an appealing manner

• Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the chef.​

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station, including proper storage of ingredients, utensils, and equipment

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely preparation of orders

• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Grill Cook in a dining restaurant

• Strong knowledge of grilling techniques and food preparation methods

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

• Excellent knife skills for slicing, dicing, and chopping ingredients

• Ability to work well within a team
